Sheet music and music album by Andris Dzenītis have been released (23/02/2021)

Musica Baltica has published a number of recent works by composer Andris Dzenītis. He is one of the most prominent Latvian middle-generation composers, whose music is widely known not only in Latvia, but also in many countries around the world.

In the catalog of the latest publications of Musica Baltica, Andris Dzenītis' choral music is represented by mixed choir pieces From Heaven with text by Gundega Šmite, Aerodynamics (commissioned by Latvian Radio Choir) with poetry by Rick Bursky, piano music - Without Moon, chamber music - Two Lines by Emily Dickinson for contralto, cycle Four Weidenbaum Songs and a Dedication for baritone and piano, symphonic music - Māra, premiered in Leipzig in 2018 by conductor Andris Nelson and the Gewandhaus symphony orchestra, Leaves leaving Leipzig for violin and string orchestra, commissioned by violinist Gidon Kremer and chamber orchestra Kremer.

Since February 19, Andris Dzenītis' music album "Latvian Radio Archive: Andris Dzenītis", released by the national record company SKANI, has been available on Spotify and other streaming and download sites. The selection includes the work Pigeon Post for choir and chamber ensemble, Līdzenuma balss for saxophone and organ, the Let it be Forgotten for mixed choir and the French horn concert Stones and Veils. The recordings were made between 2006 and 2013. The album has been recorded by the Latvian Radio Choir, chamber ensemble Altera veritas, conductor Sigvards Kļava, Artis Sīmanis (saxophone), Kristīne Adamaite (organ), Atvars Lakstīgala (French horn), chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga and conductor Normunds Šnē.
